Our purpose is to support an elementary school for grades 1 through 8, recently built in Narok, Kenya by Fr. Symon Ntaiyia, for the benefit of children, both of the Maasai tribe (who primarily reside in the region) and from other tribes. It is a secular, independent school with boarding facilities for children in grades 3 through 8.
The Maasai are a semi-nomadic people who roam Southern Kenya, living a pastoral lifestyle as herdsman who move from place to place. Schools have never been an aspect of their lives, however, they are coming to see the value of education as they witness many who have received an education advance in Kenyan society. By providing a place where Maasai children can obtain an elementary education and reside there while they do so, Fr. Symon is responding to a critical need of his people.

Last night on 60 Minutes there was a segment dedicated to the Great Migration that occurs annually on the Maasai Mara, just a short distance from the Jubilee School in Narok.
My cousins, Adrian Burke and Julia Glueck and I had an amazing experience at the Jubilee School, when we visited and volunteered there this past July, 2009
Throughout May, many photos of the Students at the Jubilee School have been taken, as have photos of the evolving Campus facilities...Be sure to see what's happening!
